Sacred Shadows is more than a group of artists, but there are many ways to become part of our creative community. Join us for a monthly gathering, collaborate on a production, share your gifts for a particular project—or, over time, discern whether you are called to help build the Society itself.

01 - GATHER
Join the Monthly Fellowship
Our monthly gatherings are an open place for artists and creative people to meet, talk about art, share what they're working on, exchange ideas, and encourage one another in the creative life. Come once or become a regular. You don't need to be a member of the Society to join us.
02 - CREATE
Collaberate on a Project
Sacred Shadows creates theatre, film, literature, music, visual art, and other original work. Artists and collaborators are invited to join individual projects according to their interests and gifts. Participation in a Sacred Shadows production does not require membership in the Society.

03 - BUILD
Explore Society Membership
Membership is for those who feel called not simply to participate in Sacred Shadows, but to help build it. Members contribute to the ongoing creative work of the Society through collaboration, responsibility, initiative, and a shared commitment to artistic excellence. Membership develops through relationship and mutual discernment rather than through a single application.
What Memberhsip Means
Members of Sacred Shadows are not simply people who attend our gatherings or participate in our productions. They are people who take responsibility for the artistic life and mission of the Society.
Membership means showing up. It means bringing ideas and helping bring the ideas of others to life. It means accepting the discipline of collaboration, pursuing excellence, taking responsibility when something needs to be done, and offering your gifts even when you are not at the center of the work.
We do not expect perfection. We do expect commitment.
You do not need to be a professional artist. You do need to be willing to work.
