The mission of Sacred Shadows Artistry Society is to create and present meaningful works of art that explore the truth of the human experience through a Catholic imagination.

We bring artists together not simply for fellowship, but for collaboration: to develop original work, cultivate artistic excellence, and create performances, films, literature, music, visual art, and other projects that can be offered to the wider community.

We seek neither to make propaganda nor to place religious language artificially upon our work. We believe authentically Catholic art can be fearless in its encounter with the whole of human experience—beauty and brokenness, humor and sorrow, sin and mercy, doubt and faith, darkness and light.

Our hope is that the work we create will invite people to look more deeply at themselves, one another, and God—and perhaps leave an encounter with our art seeing something they could not see before.
